Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.
Okay, I admit I might have DNF’d this very quickly but when you know you know. Cooper is just a walking red flag. He’s such a misogynist and thinks he’s better than everyone else because he’s … *checks notes* … poor? Mac seems fine so far but I feel like she’s going to be a massive doormat, so no thank you. Also, why is the bet not in the synopsis? If I knew about that I just would have never even looked at this book because I HATE that storyline. It’s fucking disgusting. I don’t care what rules you make up to make you feel better about yourself, toying with a girl’s emotions because you have a personal vendetta against her boyfriend will ALWAYS make you a trash human. Despite reading only 50 pages I have a pretty strong feeling about how this book will go, and based on reviews I’m 100% correct, so I’m not wasting any more time on this one.
