An enjoyable read. It was laugh out loud entertaining. Love at first sight Porter, MMC. Brilliant, funny, successful, curvy Ari, MFC. I liked that the main characters are older late thirties maybe early forties. The characters and their experiences were relatable. An angsty workplace romance. Ari faces many obstacles being a female architect in a male dominated field. She and Porter are paired together for a huge project for their firm which forces them to work closely with each other. They are both against workplace romance so it was fun seeing their relationship grow as they tried to deny being into each other. I wish there were more consequences to the partners at the firm being such misogynistic asses to women at the firm. But all in all an engaging read and I appreciated Porter going away with Ari as she advanced her career by leaving the firm and not having it be the other way around where the woman gives up everything to follow her man.
Moderate: Body shaming, Misogyny, Death of parent
