The Brutal Truth by Lee Winter

5.0

I've read this a few times and it's a comfort read that has persisted beyond my hyper fixation period. I love well-rounded characters with complex relationships with the world and themselves and so I love this one. Elena is incredibly relatable as someone who has had to be tough all her life and just can't work out how to show a softer side, except to someone who knows her and understand the subtleties of her communication enough to see past the icy facade. I love these two and I also love most things Lee Winter writes, so would recommend.
