Going There by Katie Couric

emotional informative inspiring fast-paced

Super revealing and honest memoir. She doesn’t shy away from talking about her faults and mistakes she made in her very public career and life, which was refreshing and self-aware. I also love all the name dropping of people she interviewed, dated, or came across. I came away with a great respect for her work ethic, ability to reinvent herself over the years, and dedication to cancer research. She turned a horrible loss into action, and it was encouraging to see how she finally found new love later in life. I hope she makes her way back to 60 Minutes or another news program at some point because I do love her as a TV personality, so it was great to read more of her life behind the scenes.
