Oh my gods. The faeries are so stabby and yet precious. All they want to do it dance to some sick tunes and drink way too much wine and maybe kill a few people or do something tricksy. so precious.
I loved the main characters in this book, like seriously loved. There were four of these precious little beans to love.
Hazel our main bean, she's the Knight. Will stab you.
Ben, the brother bean. Who's fashion taste and musical ability with make you cry and clutch your heart in pain at the pure perfectness.
Jack, the faerie bean who is also kinda human but is also not? So soft. Just want to be a good boy. Deserves all the cake.
And our boy bean, Severin. Just woken up after sleeping for centuries. Now wants to compete an age old quest. Is immortal and somewhat spooked about humans but is always grumpy... Unless Ben is around.
