I will never tire of this story. The characters are so enduring and there are moments which still have me kicking my feet and giggling to read them. I will admit that it must be so in my mind that the 1995 mini-series adaptation and this novel are so intertwined, that I had forgotten or overlooked that many of the key moments, for example ||Darcy's first spurned proposal to Lizzy,|| that we do not get actual dialogue to know what has been said, instead settling for a description of it instead. I still love this book endlessly, but it makes me all the more eager for a repeat viewing of the adaptation as well (not the 2005 film, blech). I could read this novel a hundred times for how ardently I adore it.
