This was a very mediocre read for me. I wasn’t a fan of the whole serial killer thing, I mean I’m all for a morally-grey MCM but this was a bit much. The spice was meh, not anything to write home about.
Those opinions may just be because of my personal preferences, however I also felt like the plot wasn’t executed very well. I don’t really get how this man just came in and took over someone’s life and got away with it, so this man just really never felt his house enough for anyone to notice a completely different person took his place, even though he basically owns and runs the whole town? Idk man. I felt like parts of the plot were kind of confusing and poorly written.
Nonetheless I wasn’t bored of the book and wanted to keep reading to see what happened, it was just a bit of a frustrating read for me personally.
