This book was such tender perfection. Single dad's fall in love volunteering at their kids football game, what more could I want?! I loved Luke and Landon together even if I spent half the book waiting for Luke to realize he'd fallen in love with Landon. It only took feeding hundreds of high school football players for half the season to figure it out. 😉

The father-son relationships further enhanced the book and made it so special to watch Luke and Emmett heal together. What most impressed me though was the discussion on LDS beliefs. As someone with LDS family members, I was worried this book would use Mormonism as a convenient plot point, but Tal truly did his research and handled the discussion of Landon's divorce with such care and thoughtfulness.

This truly was a wonderful book and lives up to the hype. I will absolutely be reading more Tal Bauer.
