for the most part, i’m happy with the ending of the series. BUT why did Kitt have to die? And why did Mak have to die? was that really necessary? was Adena dying not enough?! I can appreciate a story that isn’t sugar-coated or an unrealistic happy ending. but shit, girl 😭 so much heartbreak lol. still this is one of my favorite fantasy series!
