Very problematic author, look it up before reading at your own risk. I do not condone anything she did, but I have to say I enjoyed the book. It is beautifully written, and the characters really come to life in an incredibly relatable way. Morgaine is a character that will forever have a place in my heart, because reading about her and relating to her has helped me understand a lot more about myself. I’m still baffled at how someone who did such horrible things could write a story that looks so intimately into the struggles and layers of life as a woman. If you don’t want to support the author (who is dead btw) maybe borrow it or look it up online, I’m sure something can be found.
