Well. The break I needed from Sanderson didn’t last long: my library had an available copy of this third and last part of the story, and since I was only in a forest-lined clearing, I decided to dive in until I got through…

Clean. Full of action. But, now I have to say, this whole escapade is way too long for my liking. And then the ending was great! I think I’ll wait a while to read the next trilogy from this world, because it’s love and intense and a bit drawn out.

Characters were well developed, but I didn’t love them as much as I wanted to; just couldn’t find the click for connecting. Spook and Ham were good little conflicted people and entertained; Sazed was probably my fave for all his deeply romantic complexities; Vin and Ellund were cute but not enough to pull me in and make me feel all their deepest and weakest selves; and Kelsier was a good fella, but too short lived. Oh! Toosin the Kolod was my other fave cos he was dead cheeky.

But thank goodness that trilogy is over. I need air.
