This was a good read. I wouldn't say it was memorable though. And it tied up a little too neatly in the end. I felt a small connection to Bree but it definitely could have been stronger. She considered herself an actress and to get her son back she had to put on a show for different people but it kind of messed with the reader being able to get to know who she really was.
The message of the book was appreciated and I understand what the author was saying. I just didn't like how everything seemed glossed over and finished up so quickly. The ending worked, but I wish it never had to happen the way that it did.
Overall I did enjoy the story and I would read other books from this author but I don't see this being a book I would ever think about again.
