I absolutely LOVED this book. Despite being a YA, it didn’t really read like one. I loved how the story and world unraveled itself- learning alongside the main character is such a ‘simple’ yet perfect way to do so. The story is action packed leaving no room for boredom and all the room for being fully invested in the story and characters. The Argentine culture intertwined throughout, chefs kiss! I especially loved how social issues were translated into this fantasy world but still made relevant and realistic. Don’t even get me started on the plot twist at the end! I did not see it coming at all and it was perfection! Just, amazing. Read this!
