I really loved taking this wild ride. I actually couldn't see what was coming, and the writing was interesting. I actually listened to the book, and the narration was perfection. I would definitely recommend it to others, and I can see this being a reread for me later on. The animal death wasn't horrendous, and was plot specific - I'm usually super sensitive to that stuff, and this was fine.
