I was gifted a signed copy of this in August by someone who happened to have a few floating around in his car. Or maybe that was his excuse for banishing this from his life. Who knows. It's taken me three months to finish this. I don't know why this book is so deeply unreadable to me. It's not a bad book, it's sometimes interesting, and the writing is fine. It's even made me kind of a Blondie fan. But despite all that. Finishing this is one of the hardest things I've done all year.
