The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by Elizabeth O'Roark

5.0

Josh and Drew.
Drew was dating Josh's brother Joel, famously known as "Six". She'd broken up with him, but he kept thinking she'd give him a second chance. Drew is exhausted from performing, but never allowed to really have a break. Always on, always another tour or interview. Never ending gossip from the trolls. She wants something more, but she doesn't have any idea how to break out of the prison created by her fame.
Josh is a tall, handsome, doctor. The brother of Drew's on again, off again boyfriend. Drew thinks Josh has always looked at her with disdain. But we know how close hate can be to love, don't we?
During a family vacation in Hawaii - where Joel wants nothing more than to party all day and all night and try to talk Drew into giving him another shot - Drew realizes that she was right to break that relationship off, even at the risk of disappointing Joel's mother. She also realizes that there is WAY more to Josh than she ever thought, at the same time Josh is realizing there is a lot more to Drew than he knew as well.
Josh is hot and protective - everything Drew needs. But she also needs to do a little growing up and reconciling her present life with her past if she wants to have a happy future.

Good story. Read on KU and immediately purchased for my permanent library.
