This will make you cry.(spoilers!)
A wonderful conclusion to the trilogy. It nicely balances the first book. This is most definitely the darkest of the valdemar series however. From book one we see pain, and suffering, especially mental. From book one,the main character has foreseen his own death and in this book it will come to pass. I personally love the balance of Vanayl's years alone with Stefan's. This trilogy also explains so much about the world set up in the first trilogy and that follows in the rest of the series. I'd actually forgotten how much it set up and i look forward to rereading the rest with that insight.
