Characters that feel real and whole, an interesting magical system that makes sense without pages of explanation, Prohibition Age details, and steamy sex scenes. Yep, that’s a winner for me. My only criticism is that I wish that these steamy romance books would end steamy instead of on a domestic bliss note.
