To Pixar and Beyond: My Unlikely Journey with Steve Jobs to Make Entertainment History by Lawrence Levy

5.0

Normally, I give 5-star ratings to books I’ll read again. But this one deserves the exception. Yes, it’s a business book. But it’s also about humanity. I found it fascinating as Levy takes you along as he’s learning about the process of making computer-generated animated movies at Pixar. The hurdles and creativity and ground-breaking inventions the people there had to come up with just to get Toy Story into theaters. Levy doesn’t fall into techspeak or industry terms, instead talking about the people there and his own family. This was a very inspiring read.
