Buzzkill by Mark Reznicek, Donny Cates

4.0

Criminally too short as a mini-series. The main character is a fascinating original creation, likable and deeply sympathetic, and the pacing is excellent. Having read a few of his comics, Donny Cates seems to be very good at timing revelations. The story relies heavily on inference of events and characters that would've benefited more from a fuller exploration, when the little which is offered of the external and interior world demand to be enlarged.
