Meticulously and decisively, Cheney, the vice-chair of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack, outlines how those behind the attack plotted, planned and carried out the most violent act of domestic terrorism since the Civil War. After reading this book, with its moment by moment recreation of the day from witnesses, there is no way a rational person can come away not knowing that Donald Trump was the mastermind of the attack, and that he absolutely must not be returned to the White House. A must-read for those who believe in our democracy. It is, in fact, up to us.
