Trigger warnings: abusive relationship

February 2023: Toward the end of January, I felt myself falling into a reading slump which to me isn't not reading, it's less of a desire to read or not really feeling like picking up anything to read. To try to mitigate that, I decided to try to re-read one of my favorite books! I read this series back in 2019 for the first time and absolutely loved it. Hibbert is a phenomenal author in my opinion; her mix of humor, heart and connection between characters in unmatched. I had the best time re-reading this book. I always end up laughing out loud the entire time; the banter and sarcasm throughout is always just on point. I love the ways in which Chloe and Red take care of each other, even before they decided to give their relationship a try. Their openness and honesty is great and hits my heart every time. I just don't have a complaint about this book at all. If you haven't read it yet, do yourself the favor!
