First of all, this is a very «easy» classic to read. The language is not too old and difficult, and there are not too many characters.

I found the first 150 pages of the book slow and kinda boring, but the last 50 pages really intrigued me!

Chapter 11 confused me A LOT, and it took a while before I understood that 18 years passed in that chapter alone.

Overall an okay+ classic. It had a lot of beautiful sentences tho, so I annotated a lot. The themes of self-obsession, moral, art and beauty are very good for discussion, so I liked that.
