Kyler and Iris were such a cute couple. After a bad breakup and hockey injury, our MCโs are offered a cabin for the weekend before Christmas, by Will, Irisโs brother and Kylerโs teammate - the two unknowingly accept thinking they will get some alone time. Having met the year before at a party, Iris is not Kylers biggest fan. To their surprise, they soon become snowed in after a freak blizzard hits the cabin. The next three days force them to work together and learn to enjoy eachothers company in the hopes of making it back to civilization by Christmas.
The witty banter between the MCs made this book. You could tell they had chemistry from their very moments together and it did not disappoint. Their distaste for each other through the book was hilarious. It was also sweet seeing how no matter how irritating they found each other at times they still put it aside to help out in their snowy prison.
This book was very low spice with only one real scene, but whewโฆ it was as hot as the jacuzzi!
Overall the book is a solid 4.5 stars.
This was such a quick fun read that really got me ready for the holiday season. Ilsa did a great job setting up their universe and giving each character a backstory that was not only believable but interesting. Fingers crossed that more of the Predators players will get books as well.
Thank you Ilsa and Greys Promo for the opportunity to receive an ARC for Christmas Cupid.
All opinions and reviews of books are my own and uninfluenced by how I receive the book.
