I would like to say I can understand the fear of failing. you are not a failure. you are amazing and incredible human being, and you gave me and many others so much through out the books - which I think is a part of the problem. please don't feel obligate to publish the book because the release date has passed. do it for you. do it for us - the fans who love you, and believe that anything you'll write will be a piece of gold (because it is).
