Blackwater by Kerstin Ekman

That first fall chill had me reaching for some Scandinavian noir, and this book had just what I was looking for: Swedish mountain setting, ramshackle cabins, a meandering murder story that spans two decades, and three very different narrators. I wound my way through this complicated web of emotions and relationships, and enjoyed it for what it was -- which is not edge-of-your-seat thriller, but more grounded and atmospheric.
