The Song of the Dodo: Island Biogeography in an Age of Extinctions by David Quammen

4.0

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. Although at certain times it was a bit dry overall it was very good. I especially enjoyed when Quammen went into details about specific species or specific people that he met. My favorite story was his adventure in Tasmania looking for the Tasmanian Tiger and his adventures in Mauritius with the falcons. He has a lovely way with words and attractive sentences that catch your attention and aren't always found in science books. I look forward to reading other books he has written.
