The Bourne Identity
by Robert Ludlum
I am totally into these 70’s spy books right now. I love reading about the high tech things that now we just take for granted. I love reading how they have to find a phone and memorize phone numbers. We have definitely changed our skill sets. If you want this to be like the movie, you will be disappointed. The movie basically shares character names and a premise of a guy with amnesia, but the book has lots of parts that the movie never even touched. Even the main antagonist is different. The woman is different and the allies are different. This book totally can still hold its own against the like of today’s Gone Girl. If you are in the mood for a fast paced spy thriller, give Bourne a try.
