This is a 4.5 star book. It's YA and short ... I listened to the audio version, which was about 4.5 hours. Justyce is an excellent, deep character, and his experiences reaffirm everything else I am learning about racism in America. It is a heart breaking story, yet there is hope woven throughout ... and the ending is a much needed surprise!

I look forward to reading more by Nic Stone.
