Historical fiction is not my favorite genre but I really liked this book anyways. I love that the chapters are short and the story flows fast so that I can sit down and read for 30 minutes and I'm 75 pages in. 

Everett did an amazing job with this story and it will stick with me for a long time. I think it is well deserving of the awards it won!
