I don’t know why I love Kate Bateman stories … no wait that’s not true.
For me the thing I love is her pacing. Nothing ever seems rushed. I’m never left wishing I had seen something else or that I needed to have one or two more scenes to buy into the love story. Even if her heroes take a bit of time to let their feelings out to the heroine, they know their own minds and that makes the pacing work.
Plus I just love the whole feuding families who argue so much they actually are obsessed with each other and fall in love thing she has with this series.
