This is the third romance I have read by Christie Craig and she has a formula. Her contemporary stories take place somewhere in Texas. The heroine initially comes across as ditzy. There is a no-good ex-husband. The heroes are detectives working for law enforcement and/or are private investigators. Someone is murdered. The romance takes place within a short time span. There are humorous moments, some of which are pretty funny. There are pets with personalities. The H/h have minor communication issues but have no problems having sex and lots of it. They fall in love.

And so began this girly romance. Let me just say two words, 'cat food'. As in the brand, Fancy Feast. Don't worry, if you read the story you will understand what I am talking about.
Set aside those moments of disbelief and prepare yourself for some goofy humor. A hero that is a sweetie. Three cats and a dog. A villain to loathe. And lots ofsex lovin'.
