Better to waste a few years than a whole life.
Grief is a slippery beast. One minute it steps to one side to let you pass and just when you think you’re doing OK, it trips you up and your flat on your face again.
A life doesn’t have to be full of big moments and drama for them to count. Small moments, two. Those moments no one else sees.
Wow, I’m not sure what I was expecting when I came across this book. I certainly judged it by its beautiful cover and the title certainly lead me thinking otherwise. But gosh this book was so much more than its beautiful cover. (Which by the way, I would love to be inserted into said cover) There was so many layers to this book that I was not expecting. A mystery unfolding and secrets to uncover. And not predictable in the least bit, at least for me. Honestly it was such an enjoyable read and the perfect beach read. The end I will say was perfectly tied into a bow in the ultimate dream world, and I’m not mad about it. When you meet the three main pov characters, they’re broken and lost. And to see them healed and on to new beginnings in the end was lovely.
