I cannot believe that it took me until now to actually read this, as I love just about every cinematic version/audio version I have ever seen or heard. The book itself is every bit as wonderful, magical, and entertaining as I expected it to be, and more so. It deserves its classic status. I had so much fun reading this, I plan to (finally) make it a personal Christmas tradition.
