Phew…. this book. JT says her inspiration for the story comes from another one of her books, Savage Hearts. I went into this semi-blind after reading a few non-descriptive reviews, and I’m glad I did. Kayla and Aidens story is tragic yet beautiful. There’s many a lesson to be learned in this story, and of course the spice was a solid 4.5/5 🌶️. The twist towards the end of the story hit me like a Mac truck. Overall I’m very happy I read this!
