I was excited to read this one because of the concept!  Caroline bases her novel's hero on a man she meets briefly, only for him to formally meet him later.  Caroline and Dorian start a friends with benefits knowing that Dorian is expected to marry someone with a title.  I appreciate that even though their relationship starts out as a friends with benefits, Caroline is committed to prioritizing her independence instead of giving everything up to be with Dorian when presented with the chance.  This historical romance is full of lovable characters and funny to moments to keep you invested until the end!  I can't wait to read the next book in the Bluestocking Booksellers series!
