Devil Bones by Kathy Reichs
3.0
i haven't been on the best of terms with goodreads lately.
its current state of chaos is partly my fault, as i've felt really under the weather. i had zero motivation to do even the things i love, and my reading suffered because of it. duh!
but so did my goodreads, because lord knows i haven't updated it in a bit. and the site being, ironically, down every single time i tried to hasn't helped my case.
but i'm here, finally, better late than ever.
and turns out that i read more than i thought i would, all things considered.
“devil bones” is just one of many books i finished during my slump. i've always been fascinated by all things occult, even though i have too much respect for the subject to ever try my hand at it. what i do is merely what from the shadows.
i loved seeing some of it here, learning about niche religions and such. i have to admit that, at times, the case was hard to follow because there were so many names! but i had a good time regardless.
