A small idyllic town of paras where the diner owner is an ancient Sentinel and acts almost like a Mayor, pixies run the only diner in town and protection comes in the form of twin dragons and vampires.
Shannan's world building is phenomenal. She manages to take the fantastic and impossible and make it seem almost real. With unexpected twists and turns that had my head reeling, My Viking Vampire kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was unable to put it down and ended up reading it all in one sitting. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series.
