The Dark Knight Strikes Again by Frank Miller

2.0

Most of it doesn't make much sense. Frank Miller is insane. Some of it is okay, but there are far too many pages where I'm going..."WTF am I even reading? What is going on here?"

The art is mediocre and the story jumbled. Batman: Year One was okay, but it had a different artist. The Dark Knight Returns felt like it was never going to end and had soooo much crammed into it. The Dark Knight Strikes Again is less long, but has a lot of unnecessary stuff, too. I guess some people like that?

Once again, within the dialogue, there's an attempt at slang of the future that just fails miserably because I'm just thinking, "WTF are they saying? WTF does that even mean?!?!"

Was the commentary by the various townspeople necessary? Not to me. They just kept saying the same damn things.

And PLEASE! Dick Grayson is not insane. Obviously, Frank knows nothing about the character. I love how he was ignored up until the very end and the part he played was just stupid, out of character and completely random.
