The Good Girls Revolt: How the Women of Newsweek Sued their Bosses and Changed the Workplace by Lynn Povich
5.0
Truly inspiring! It makes you think about how times have changed and not changed. And it makes you stay conscious of how you're being treated as a woman...and as a human being.
Considering that, some day, I'd like to have a career in writing (possibly in journalism), I feel that it was essential for me to read this. It showed me the history of the industry and what to look out for in today's world. The women in this book have empowered me to keep reaching and striving.
The length of the book was perfect, by the way. And considering all the names mentioned throughout, the writing style was easy to read and keep straight. I never felt like- wait, who was that again?
Loved it. Very good book.
