Rabbit: The Autobiography of Ms. Pat by Patricia Williams

5.0

I downloaded the audiobook version because the cute little black girl on the cover reminded me of some of my old pictures. I never heard of Ms. Pat but I am so glad that I do now. Listening to the story of her life (read by her) was profound. She went through some mess but I loved that she and Jeannine chose to tell her story based on the angels that helped her along the way. When I finished I was amazed that she has come through all of that but still has laughter and a huge heart. I do wonder if she's been able to reconnect with some of her angels and what happened to some of the other people (ie did Butterfly's mom ever find her?). Such a great book and hopefully I can see her on stage one day.
