"Everything with Chance is new and so damn exciting. I don't remember the last time I felt this good." - Noah
"He deserves the whole world and that includes good friends who'll stand up for him. Who truly care about him." - Chance
I love this book so much! I was so excited to read about coach's life and it did not disappoint. It's very insta love-ish, I was surprised that the " I love you " was so soon. Noah has done so much for the town for so long, it's so sad that he didn't feel like he could fully be himself. Also his friend is sh!t, him and Oakley's dad could totally be best friends. I love Oakley's family so much and we are getting more from him!
This book felt like more than a love story. It had the background of the characters, conversations with LeAnn (Noah's daughter) that was amazing, I'm glad she is happy.
"You shouldn't have to hide who you love." - LeAnn
I love the relationship Noah has with his daughter and her husband, I would to read more about them in the future. They support each other so much and LeAnn has been amazing for the other characters as well.
Chance and Noah are so good together, they had important conversations, they took their time and they felt safe. They also helped each other a lot with their anxiety. I'm glad Chance found Noah and finally have people around him that truly are happy for him and listened to his story and not to the gossip. He deserves that.
"It's time for Kensley to change and grow."
It is indeed time for this town to change and it is in small ways. I was so scared for Camden & Kingston in the first book, that book hurts so much, knowing that a lot of characters couldn't wait to leave town to finally be themselves to the point that didn't even want to go back for the holidays because they didn't feel safe.
--> Giving this book 5 stars doesn't mean I have a favorite couple, I really don't. All their stories are beautiful in their own way. This is a 5 star Serie
