The Knight and the Moth
by Rachel Gillig
I'm starting to think that R.Gillig is not for me.
Everything feels superficial: world-building, characters, the story itself. Pacing is off. I see so much potential, but... I said the same thing about one dark window, I mean come on, a nightmare speaking in her head in rhymes and riddles, mists, you know how good it could be?? But it wasn't. And now, I see so much unfulfilled potential too. Once again, I'm not invested in the story.
I waited for the release of this book, had it on my to-be-released list. I'm disappointed and sorry, but I'm going to stop giving R. Gillig new chances.
