Womancode: Perfect Your Cycle, Amplify Your Fertility, Supercharge Your Sex Drive, and Become a Power Source by Alisa Vitti

5.0

“Among even the smartest women I know, Sex Ed was first and last time they formally learned anything about their bodies, periods, and hormones; the rest has been picked up from magazines and friends.” Anyone else feel like Alisa Vitta was speaking directly to her? I admit that I was feeling embarrassed for this very reason when I finally got my hands on this library book, and Alisa’s intro immediately put me at ease. I found Woman Code fascinating, informative, and helpful. Alisa provides the scientific data to back her lifestyle recommendations and an app to track your choices (@floliving). I wish I had read this book in my twenties, but it’s still helpful as I approach my fortieth chapter. It’s amazing how many organs and systems are affected by hormones. Let’s normalize these conversations, shall we?
