Circe by Madeline Miller

5.0

need to read the physical copy - but loved the audiobook
REREAD:
I read the physical book this time and loved it even more than I did the first time. Circe is such a misunderstood, lonely character whose arc is just incredible. She should be so much more hateful than she is. Although she is a goddess, she is a person first and her humanity really shines through her. Watching her go through life and make the decisions that she does is such a deep and raw portrayal of femininity and existing as a woman. I love her and will defend her until the end of time.
