Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

Slow moving at first, but the atmospheric writing draws you in.  I oddly enjoyed waiting to find out what was going on.
. I didn’t find the mystery reveal to quite be worth the slow approach to it.
. I also had trouble figure in out the time setting for this novel, although I’m not sure why.  Overall, I liked the first part of the book but ultimately it fell a little flat.
