Bridget will always have a special place in my heart. I've loved her character for years and when this new book came out I desperately hoped it would love up to my, admittedly high, expectations!
I still prefer the first book, but this was just as lovely and felt like it remained true to her as a character!
Was distraught (obviously) about the situation with Mark, but felt it was beautifully done on Fielding's part - even if I refuse to believe it to be actually true.
