The Darkest Flower by Kristin Wright
4.0
This story follows two very different woman.
Allison is a lawyer who follows all the rules. She's inteligent, but finds herself stuck in a law firm doing the leftover cases her Boss, Dan, throws at her. Her daughter is her man priority and Allison does everythink she can to make sure she provides for her.
Kira on the other hand, is a PTA mom (or as I kept thinking in my head, a PITA (pain in the ass) mom). I rolled my eyes constantly at things that she thought or said. She's manipulative, a liar, and on trial for nearly killing someone she considers to be her best friend.
It was a great story, and the twists at the end reminded me of Gone Girl, but in a trial setting. I actually really enjoyed it.
