Honestly, stunning. I was blown away by the amazing writing of all the characters and the beautifully designed trials. I adored how all the characters interacted with each other and changed over the course of the book. You could really feel the atmosphere slowly shift as each trial passed, the anxiety growing more and more.
I genuenly can't think of any problems I had with the book except FOR THAT CLIFFHANGER, AIDEN, WE NEED BOOK 2 RIGHT NOW, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Also, awkward trans gay boi Teo I'd die for tbh he's too cute and I'm so jealous of those stunningly handsome wings I mean just looook at that cover ;u;
