Colin Dickey’s The Unidentified is an absolute joy to read. His tone leans toward skeptical without going hardcore debunker. But the veracity of the theories he discusses are not the heart of the book. Instead, The Unidentified is a fascinating exploration of the shifting cultural significance of cryptids, UFOs, and lost continents.
